I don’t know when I began to perceive the love dance between the Trinity and how it relates to me personally. But with it has come a desire to be in relationship with the Trinity. I intellectually understood that God is love and He desires to give to His children. For most of my life I have seen myself in doer mode. And so I was frequently thinking about what I should be doing for God. And that is in no way meant to minimize the work that we are called to do. But I did not realize that glorifying God through our words to others but most importantly to Him, not just our deeds, is another way in which we should relate to Him. So after some thought, I considered the Psalms and how the writers came to God honestly, in reverence and frequently praising Him in their words. So with a heart full of praise for who God is and how He shows His goodness to me, I thought I would write about it. As I considered a blog, I realized that I wanted others to have the opportunity to share their thoughts and experiences on God’s goodness. This blog is not about who I am but who He is!
